Заинтриговав общественность предварительным анонсом, японский автогигант официально продемонстрировал «спортивный» вариант рестайлингового внедорожника Toyota Fortuner, который получил название TRD Sportivo. Продажи новинки уже начались на территории Таиланда.

Цветовая гамма кузова Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo 2016 модельного года представлена классическими колерами – чёрным («Attitude Black Mica») и белым («White Pearl CS»). От базовой версии машины новинка отличается видоизменёнными бамперами, особыми накладками на порогах, легкосплавными колёсными дисками чёрного цвета размерностью 20 дюймов, новой системой выхлопа и специальными эмблемами.

В моторном отсеке внедорожника Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo смонтирован 2.8-литровый турбодизельный агрегат 1GD-FTV Turbo, генерирующий 177 лошадиных сил (130 киловатт) мощности и 450 Ньютон-метров максимального крутящего момента. В сочетании с двигателем функционирует доработанная шестискоростная автоматическая коробка передач. В стандартном исполнении автомобиль имеет привод на заднюю ось, но за дополнительную плату можно заказать установку полноприводной системы Sigma 4 AWD. Кроме того, модель получила доработанную подвеску и усиленные тормоза.

В кабине новинки Toyota появились оригинальные напольные коврики, модифицированный приборный щиток, кнопка Start/Stop Engine, мультимедийный центр T-Connect с 7-дюймовым тачскрином и стильное красно-чёрное оформление. Стоимость «спортивного» внедорожника Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo в Таиланде стартует с отметки в 1 миллион 679 тысяч батов (порядка 3 миллионов 460 тысяч рублей по текущему курсу российского ЦБ). Топовая версия машины оценивается в 1 миллион 769 тысяч батов (3 миллиона 645 тысяч рублей).

GALLERY: Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo at BIMS 2016

The Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo, announced earlier this month in Thailand, is present at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show. Exterior changes include redesigned front and rear bumpers with body coloured lips, dark chrome grille, matte black film on the roof (8,000 baht option for pearl white cars, black is the only other exterior colour), dark chrome for the rear license plate garnish, TRD Sportivo badging and exhaust tips.

Also in are black six-spoke 20-inch TRD wheels with 265/50 Dunlop rubber. Upgraded brakes and TRD Sportivo suspension comprising springs and shocks are available.

Inside, the seven-seat Hilux-based SUV gets a JBL audio system with 11 speakers, touchscreen head unit with navi, black/red leather seats with red stitching, red leather on the door cards, leather trim and red stitch on the dashboard, “carbon kevlar” trim on the steering and gear knob, red TRD push start button and key fob.

Also included is a meter panel that’s peppered with red and carbon, with a TRD Sportivo logo on the MID and TRD logo on the speedo face. Scuff plates with illuminated TRD logos and TRD carpets complete the package, along with a TRD logo puddle lamp on the rear hatch. Plenty of ‘TRD’ reminders, in and out.

The Fortuner TRD Sportivo is only available with the 2.8 litre 1GD-FTV turbodiesel with 177 hp and 450 Nm of torque, paired to a six-speed automatic gearbox. Buyers can choose from 2WD (rear-wheel drive) or the “Sigma4” 4WD. Prices range from 1.679 million baht (RM191,358) to 1.769 million baht (RM201,636).

The new Toyota Fortuner, along with its Hilux pick-up truck sister, will be launching in Malaysia this year, and there’s a possibility that we might see a similar TRD Sportivo variant here, too. The SUV has been spotted more than once in the Klang Valley, so a launch could be just around the corner.
