Новую Toyota Land Cruiser 200 оснастят флагманским пакетом безопасности

Вслед за обновлённой версией Lexus LX 570, представленной на минувшей неделе, концерн Toyota провёл официальную презентацию люксового внедорожника Land Cruiser 200, а именно – версии, предназначенной для японского рынка.

Из внешних изменений автомобиля выделим радиаторную решётку с тремя ламелями и новые задние фары, благодаря которым Land Cruiser 200 визуально стал казаться шире. Цветовая гамма кузова пополнилась парой новых тонов: Dark Blue Mica и Copper Brown Mica. В салоне нас ожидают улучшенная центральная консоль с новым сенсорным экраном диагональю 4,2 дюйма, три пары светодиодных фонарей в качестве подсветки внутреннего пространства авто, а также сиденья, обитые полуанилиновой кожей.

Новый Land Cruiser 200 стал первым авто на рынке Японии с передовым пакетом активной безопасности Toyota Safety Sense P, включающим в себя систему предупреждения о сходе с полосы движения, систему мониторинга «слепых» зон, систему предупреждения столкновения с функцией обнаружения пешеходов и много других весьма полезных функций.

Японская версия внедорожника будет оснащаться только 318-сильной бензиновой «восьмёркой» объёмом 4,6 литра с крутящим моментом 460 Нм при 3400 об/мин. Агрегатироваться она будет с 6-уровневым «автоматом». Land Cruiser 200 получит полный привод, а расход топлива в среднем составит 14,5 литров на 100 километров пути.

А вот версия, предназначенная для продаж за пределами Страны восходящего солнца, получит также и 4,5-литровый битурбированный дизель, который благодаря ряду доработок выдаёт теперь 268 «лошадей» и 650 Нм. Средний расход автомобиля с таким силовым агрегатом составит 9,5 л на 100 км.

Цена на новый Toyota Land Cruiser 200 на внутреннем рынке будет начинаться от 38 000 долларов. Первоначально компания планирует продавать 250 экземпляров внутри страны ежемесячно.

Partially Redesigned Land Cruiser 200 Debuts Toyota’s Latest Safety and Driver Assistance Features

Launched today in Japan, the partially redesigned Land Cruiser 200 is the first model to bring Toyota’s flagship active safety package, Toyota Safety Sense P, to the market. The model also debuts several cutting-edge driver assistance features, as well as a number of aesthetic updates aiming to reinforce its powerful and advanced image. Toyota is aiming for monthly sales in Japan of 250 units.

Safety and driver assistance

The Toyota Safety Sense P active safety package comes standard on all grades. Toyota Safety Sense P is a higher-spec version of the Toyota Safety Sense C package, which debuted earlier this year on the Corolla in Japan. As the standard-bearer for the Land Cruiser nameplate, Toyota considered the Land Cruiser 200 to be the perfect model to showcase this advanced new safety package. Toyota Safety Sense P includes the following functions:

Pre-collision System with pedestrian detection

This system uses millimeter-wave radar and a single-lens camera to detect pedestrians in addition to vehicles. To help prevent or mitigate collisions, the system activates an audio and visual alert in addition to brake assist, followed by automated braking if the driver does not brake in time. Automated braking operates at relative speeds of between approximately 10 to 80 km/h for reducing potential damage or collisions with pedestrians and can reduce speed by approximately 30 km/h. For potential collisions with or damage from other vehicles, the enhanced PCS system included with the Toyota Safety Sense P package operates at relative speeds of between approximately 10 km/h and the vehicle’s top speed, reducing speed by approximately 40 km/h.

Radar Cruise Control (with brake control)

On highways, Radar Cruise Control uses millimeter-wave radar to detect preceding vehicles and determine their speed. It then adjusts vehicle speed (within a set range) to ensure that there is a safe distance between vehicles. By using a forward-facing camera and millimeter-wave radar to monitor vehicles merging into or out of the lane, Radar Cruise Control helps maintain smooth acceleration and deceleration while driving.

Lane Departure Alert (LDA)

LDA uses a camera to detect white and yellow lane markings. If the vehicle starts to deviate from the lane, LDA alerts the driver with an audio and visual alert.

Automatic High Beam (AHB)

AHB helps ensure excellent forward visibility during nighttime driving. It uses a camera to detect the headlights of oncoming vehicles and the tail lights of vehicles ahead, and then automatically switches between high beams and low beams so as not to dazzle other drivers.

Among additional safety and driver assistance features, a panoramic multi-terrain monitor helps assess safety conditions all around the vehicle. Furthermore, it is now possible to check the positioning of tires and safety conditions under the vehicle, thanks to the world’s first 1 use of an under floor view. The shape of the road surface ahead of the vehicle and the inclination of the vehicle can be checked intuitively via a front view rotating display―another world-first feature 1 .

All models feature a Blind Spot Monitor, which uses radar to detect vehicles in adjacent lanes and helps with rear view assessment when changing lanes. Additionally, a Rear Cross Traffic Alert system warns the driver when the Blind Spot Monitor detects a nearby vehicle when backing out of parking lots. Finally, hazard lights automatically flash during sudden braking as a signal to warn vehicles in the rear.

The Tire Pressure Warning System on the Multi-Information Display monitors the air pressure of each tire individually, assisting with safe driving and contributing to increased fuel efficiency.

Exterior

Aspiring to a style worthy of the cream of the 4WD crop, the working theme behind the redesign of the Land Cruiser 200 was «functional beauty.»

A refined, flowing design, marked by elevated horizontal character lines, extends throughout the vehicle. By hollowing out the hood center section while maintaining a convex shape from hood to grill, the entire front section strikes a muscular, imposing stance. This is further accentuated by a new three-bar grill, the metallic garnish of which extends horizontally across the LED headlights.

Similarly, the rear license garnish extends across the rear combination lamps, which themselves stretch across the rear door panel to the edge of the vehicle. Overall, the rear profile projects a sense of unity, width and stability.

With the addition of Copper Brown Mica and Dark Blue Mica, a total of nine exterior colors are available.

Interior

To improve functionality, switches and displays have been gathered and grouped by function in the center cluster. Six LED-backlit meters convey the status of the vehicle at a single glance. Hairline decorations also adorn the meter board which, along with improved textures, now features a 4.2-inch TFT color LCD screen.

The ceiling is now available in black, and the interior now has four colors available to choose from―including a new brown color. The seat covers use genuine semi aniline leather.

Система безопасности Safety Sense пользуется повышенным спросом у российских покупателей автомобилей Toyota. Так, объем продаж автомобилей Toyota, оснащенных пакетом систем активной безопасности Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), в России достиг отметки в 45 000 единиц.

На сегодняшний день этой системой в России оснащаются сразу несколько моделей Toyota. Втоповых комплектациях она устанавливается на Land Cruiser 200, Land Cruiser Prado, RAV4, Camry и Highlander. Новая Toyota Camry, запущенная в России в 2018 году, получила TSS второго поколения.

Пакет систем активной безопасности Toyota Safety Sense помогает избежать или уменьшить серьезность последствий и травм, возникающих в результате дорожных происшествий. Он включает в себя несколько подсистем: автоматическое переключение дальнего света на ближний, оповещение о непреднамеренном пересечении дорожной разметки, предупреждение об угрозе фронтального столкновения. Дополняют список функций круиз-контроль, позволяющий поддерживать безопасную дистанцию до впереди идущего автомобиля, система распознавания и информирования о дорожных знаках, а также система контроля и информирования об усталости водителя.

На российском рынке Toyota Safety Sense была впервые представлена c запуском модели Toyota Land Cruiser 200 в 2015 году, и с тех пор модель является лидером по числу проданных автомобилей с TSS. Почти 22 000 проданных экземпляров легендарного внедорожника оснащены пакетом систем активной безопасности, что составляет 61% от всех продаж Toyota Land Cruiser 200 за этот период.

Следующими в модельном ряду Toyota TSS получили Toyota RAV4, которая разошлась в количестве 4932 единицы, что составляет 5,5% от общего количества проданных экземпляров, Toyota Highlander (1417 проданных автомобилей с TSS, доля от общего количества — 83%) и Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (2778 проданных автомобилей с TSS, доля от общего количества —14,6%).

В апреле 2018 года на российском рынке вышла новая Toyota Camry, получившая пакет систем активной безопасности уже второго поколения. Система предупреждения о фронтальном столкновении (PCS) дополнилась функцией распознавания пешеходов и режимом автоматического торможения. Адаптивный круиз-контроль (АСС) второго поколения теперь работает во всем скоростном диапазоне, обеспечивая в том числе полную остановку и движение в пробке, а система оповещения о смене полосы движения (LDA) при необходимости возвращает автомобиль в выбранную полосу движения деликатным подруливанием. Кроме того, возможности водителя дополняет система кругового обзора с четырьмя камерами, проецирующими как панорамные, так и динамические виды.
