Внешние габариты нового Toyota Hilux по сравнению с моделью-предшественником изменились по всем направлениям. Для наиболее востребованной версии со сдвоенной кабиной эти показатели составляют: 5335 мм в длину при размерах колесной базы 3085 мм, 1855 мм в ширину и 1820 мм в высоту. Таким образом, автомобиль стал шире и длиннее, слегка уменьшившись в высоте. Максимальная грузоподъемность указанной версии составляет 1240 кг. Автомобиль способен буксировать прицеп, чья масса составляет 3.5 тонны.
Высоко посаженные головные фары, выполненные в духе Тойота Королла последней версии, соединяются между собой хромированной радиаторной решеткой с четырьмя продольными перекладинами. В рельефный бампер интегрирован огромный воздухозаборник и пара противотуманок классической круглой формы. Как и полагается любому современному автомобилю, среди осветительных приборов Тойота Хайлюкс в новом кузове имеются дневные ходовые огни из светодиодов.
Линия крыши автомобиля абсолютно ровная, что обеспечивает серьезный запас пространства над головами водителя и пассажиров. А вот из-за отвесной задней стенки кабины угол наклона спинки дивана не удалось сделать столь комфортным, как это бывает в салонах кроссоверов или универсалов. Более рельефными стали выштамповки на крыльях, а задние боковые двери получили форточки.
Сзади автомобиль отличают большие и нарядные габаритные фонари, а также довольно компактный бампер, отделанный хромом. Для удобства погрузки и выгрузки задний бампер выполнен с оригинальной платформой-ступенькой посередине.
ИНТЕРЬЕР САЛОНА TOYOTA HILUX 2015 года
Внутри салона автомобиля стало просторно и уютно. Создатели новинки использовали высококачественные материалы отделки. Количество и диапазон регулировок передних кресел позволяет быстро настроить сиденья под водителя или пассажира любого роста и комплекции. Пространства задним пассажирам Хайлюкса вполне достаточно, чтобы ноги не упирались в спинки передних кресел. Заметно улучшилась и шумоизоляция салона машины. Теперь даже на высоких оборотах работы мотора можно переговариваться, не особо повышая голос.

Toyota Hilux Revo Sport Concept unveiled in Bangkok
We’ve seen the Toyota Hilux Revo TRD Sport Offroad Concept, which already looks quite beefy on the outside, as it is. Now, here’s another one present at the 2015 Bangkok Motor Expo that will effectively outdo the last one. Feast your eyes on the Toyota Hilux Revo Sport Concept.
On the front, the fascia sees a custom front grille, along with a large bumper that sports an even larger opening. The glossy black lip comes fashioned with a red strip. Additionally, it features a two-tone bonnet with subtle air scoops. Going up top, two small LED strips are enclosed in raised housings. An extensive roof spoiler is also fitted.
Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without skirts on the sides. In the back, the Hilux’s bed is closed with a bed cover that features two fins on the sides. Underneath, a glossy rear diffuser that sports a stylish red line is in place. In addition to that, it also features large 22-inch TRD rims in a black, shiny finish to complete this rugged makeover.
No engine modifications for this Sport Concept, so the same power is to be expected. Underneath the new Hilux is a choice of two new turbodiesel engines – a 150 hp/400 Nm 2.4 litre 2GD-FTV and a 177 hp/450 Nm 2.8 litre 1GD-FTV from the GD family, as well as new six-speed intelligent manual and automatic transmissions.

Toyota Hilux Revo TRD Sport Offroad prototype
The eighth-gen 2016 Toyota Hilux was unveiled in Thailand and Australia in May, and the market leading pick-up truck now sports Toyota’s latest design language as seen on its passenger cars, both inside and outside.
Aside from revised styling, the new Hilux gets two new turbodiesel engines (2.8L and 2.4L, both with VNT, EGR and stop-start) as well as fresh six-speed ‘intelligent’ manual and auto gearboxes. The truck also features a thicker, stronger frame and enhanced comfort, safety and convenience features. Full details here.
For those who admire the Hilux’s qualities but also like the sport truck look made popular by the Ford F-150 Raptor, this Toyota Hilux Revo TRD Sport Offroad might be up your alley. Still a prototype, it was displayed at the Bangkok International Auto Salon 2015 late last month.
The showcar looks significantly more macho than the stock Hilux. Exterior add ons include a TRD front grille and sump guard, bumper cover, sport bar, overfenders and a spoiler on the tail gate.
TRD’s offroad suspension (a rear stabiliser bar is also available) gives the Hilux higher ground clearance, and the truck rides on 18-inch alloys, with TRD calipers behind the front rims. There’s also a muffler with carbon cover. Speaking of CF, the wing mirrors have that look, too. The must-have decals are found on the hood and sides, but not on the tail gate.
These images, by RevoClub Thailand, don’t show the TRD Sport Offroad’s cabin, but the accessories list includes a TRD shift knob and “leg room lamp with TRD logo” among other things. What do you think, pick-up truck fans?
