The Chevrolet truck lineup was anxious to receive this 4th generation pickup with improved independent suspension and a long list of optional features along with many different choices in the setup of the truck. The Silverado pickup is a mainstay for any person or company that relies on dependability, ease of service and proven performance. With many of these trucks used and abused, it is a rare sight to come across one like this with so few miles and in such outstanding condition both inside and out.

Featured here at the GR Auto Gallery is this impeccable one owner C3500 fleet side dully pickup with the monstrous 7.4L V8 which had a jaw dropping 385lbs of torque and 230HP available to the driver for any adventure that was planned. This truck was bought by and remained in the sole custody of the dealer principal of a local Chevy dealer and was used sparingly to pull his custom enclosed trailer (also available for purchase) with his vintage vehicle to local and nationwide events and shows. The car remains in excellent condition today and with the Silverado package is also highly optioned for the time. Some of the highlights include; 7.4L V8, 4.10 rear axle, front and rear camper lights, fiberglass sun visor, power front disc brakes, engine oil cooler, wider mirrors, rear sliding window, rear vented windows, two tone paint, and many other fine factory features. This truck also received some nice upgrades throughout its life. Dual exhaust was installed, fiberglass running boards, electric brake control, chrome tie down mounts in the bed rail, Duraline bed liner, vent shades for front windows, KC fog lights, and dyna-plate rear inner tailgate for added protection. Further enhancements and these are two big ones – these pickups had a standard 3spd transmission from the factory and obtaining highway speeds was a chore and added much more stress to engine and transmission. The owner replaced the engine with a brand new crate engine done at the Chevy dealership and also added a Gear Vendors overdrive system to obtain a lower RPM and less stress overall on the vehicle and also making the truck much more enjoyable at highway speeds. The motor has less than 5,000 miles on it and it runs like a top.

As stated, this is a ton of truck for the money and finding one that has been so well preserved and maintained would be near to impossible. The truck has great eyeball and the vehicle appears to be in almost new condition, and comes with a clean CarFax for verification. We highly recommend this truck for anyone that needs a great toy hauler or reliable pickup.
