A Kahn Design Creates the Land Rover Discovery 3.0 SDV6 Twin Turbo XS – RS300
The Land Rover Discovery (LR4 here in the US) may be an SUV designed for off-road capability, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t be a smooth luxury ride and make its home on the city streets. The new Land Rover Discovery 3.0 SDV6 Twin-Turbo XS – RS300 by A Kahn Design is just that – a Discovery that is built for the road but still has its well-known off-road capabilities. It may have a very long name, but it’s an exceptional, custom-tailored SUV that is a real head-turner.
The exterior of the Land Rover Discovery 3.0 SDV6 Twin Turbo XS – RS300 is more dramatic and eye-catching than ever before. Thanks to a new, aggressive styling package by the British company, the Discovery commands attention on the road.
Up front sits a new RS grille with three-dimensional mesh and wheel arch LED daytime running lights that change the face of the SUV. Bigger RS-R wheels with a five-spoke concave design give the impression of power and muscle, and are fitted in a 9.5 x 22 front and 10.5 x 22 rear setup. The new wheels hide a set of liquid red-painted brake calipers and are housed beneath front and rear RS-vented air dams. New Kahn enamel fender shields and tailgate logo combine with the dark-tinted privacy glass to finish off the exterior transformation of the Land Rover Discovery 3.0 SDV6 Twin Turbo XS – RS300.
Inside, the rugged capabilities of the car are masked by a wealth of custom-tailored luxuries throughout the cabin. All seven of the seats can be adorned in either red of black quilted and perforated leather along with the center console, while each of the four door armrests feature unique stitching. Telling time is even an enjoyable experience as a new fascia insert surrounded by a Swarovski diamond bezel adds a beautiful touch to the center stack. Facing the driver is a red-colored tachometer to match the red theme inside. Beneath the beltline are a set of aluminum foot pedals for the driver, new floor mats, and stainless steel door entry sills to greet passengers. The driver also benefits from a Kahn red enamel key ring with logo, to remind them of what sits outside.
As with all of the models created by A Kahn Design, the Land Rover Discovery 3.0 SDV6 Twin Turbo XS – RS300 can be outfitted with a wide range of colors, options, and virtually anything else that the customer desires to make it a unique statement in motoring. The featured vehicle with Santorini Black exterior and red quilted leather interior is currently available for £35,875.00 from the British company.

Весной 2013 года они уже представили Land Rover Discovery который до сих пор оставался в тени более знаменитых Range Rover и Defender, над которыми уже успел на тот момент поработать Афзал Кан. Теперь Kahn Design решили познакомить общественность с новеньким проектом – Land Rover Discovery TDV6 3,0 XS RS300. Это семейный внедорожный автомобиль на семь персон, его оснастили сдержанным пакетом внешних улучшений, в который вошли фирменная решетка радиатора с трехмерной сеткой, вертикальные светодиодные огни, которые расположились по краям расширенного переднего бампера. Кузов украсили накладками на вентиляционные отверстия, которые выделяются на общем фоне. Сам автомобиль получил расширенные колесные арки, а задние дополнительно оснастили вентиляцией. Land Rover Discovery получил тонированные стекла от специалистов Kahn Design, а вместо стандартных колесных дисков поставили фирменные стильные из серии RS600. В салоне у Land Rover Discovery TDV6 3,0 XS RS300 отделка сделана из перфорированной кожи со стежкой. Пороги прикрыты алюминиевыми накладками, центральная консоль теперь размещает и фирменные часы с Swarovski. Итоговыми штрихами стали алюминиевые педали, коврики и приборная панель с красными циферблатами. Такой вариант отделки салона был всего-навсего демонстрационный, специалисты из Kahn Design подберут интерьер под конкретного заказчика, что позволит разгуляться даже придирчивым клиентами.

The stornoway grey Kahn Land Rover Discovery 3.0 TDV6 XS RS300 is irresistible and more exceptional than any other tuned vehicle we have seen lately. However, one can get a true sense of what this Land Rover really is after getting behind the steering wheel.
The professionals at A. Kahn Design have imbued this Discovery with desire and have transformed it into the car one can drive with utilitarian but charming purpose. It has luxurious and cozy interior, and its appearance gives a feeling of aggressiveness and strength.
To be more precise, the designers have equipped the vehicle with an outstanding styling package which comprises of an RS pair of vented front air dams, front wheel arch LED light strips, exterior Kahn enamel wing shields, Kahn enamel tailgate Logo, privacy tinted glass, RS front grille with 3D mesh, door entry sill plates in stainless steel and RS vented rear air dams.
In addition, the interior includes the famous «bespoke touch» of Kahn’s. It is completed with a diamond quilted centre glove box, vented foot pedals in machined aluminum, front, middle and rear seats in quilted and perforated black leather (for the seven seats), clock bezel surround finished with Swarovski diamonds, four door armrest stitching, speedo and rev counter fascia, privacy tinted glass, floor mats and time clock fascia insert.
What is more, the stornoway grey Kahn Land Rover Discovery embodies even more aggressive stance thanks to the Kahn wheels it has been equipped with. They were created with the help of state-of-the art manufacturing and materials technology. Here we are speaking namely about the RS600 wheels, which of course fit all original centre caps.
Kahn Design Land Rover Discovery Sport Black Label Edition
Kahn Design has created something new. After spending a lot of time with the Defender in recent months, and dealing with the Defender Land Rover Defender Limited Edition «Ultimate Defender» Version completed it was time for something new. The Land Rover Discovery Sport was chosen as the Kahn Design in June 2015 Ground Effect Edition presented. The “Black Label Edition” variant presented now is also fundamentally based on this model, only this time everything is black. The already known RS600 alloy wheels in 8,5 × 20 inches are now not painted in silver platinum but in matt black and are the most striking feature. Further details such as the front grille in Satin Black, the also black underrun protection front and rear round off the overall picture discreetly but unmistakably.
Of course, the interior has also been redesigned accordingly and so in the current vehicle it shines in chic Red Herringbone leather, which impresses with its full upholstery of the front and rear seats including the headrests and armrests, the door panels, the dashboard or the additional glove compartment in the middle. The guys around the team from Kahn Design Team published the Discovery on their website yesterday and we are pleased to be able to show you the first pictures. After the subtle tuning cure that the Discovery Sport was allowed to endure, it is now much darker, of course more individual and, thanks to the RS600 Alu’s, visually more dynamic than the production version. If you are thinking of buying a Land Rover Discovery Sport in the future or already own one, Kahn Design is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model.
