Land Rover Defender Heritage Edition

E.C.D. introduced its Heritage Edition for those Defender enthusiasts who wanted to maintain the nostalgic styling of the Defender. Over the years, we’ve had a range of beautiful Heritage Defenders coming down the line, and these are some of the most popular vintage restorations from the Heritage Collection that we have done to date.’

Classic Restored Defenders

Project Heritage 90 is a true classic beauty taking the Defender’s vintage stylings throughout the entire build. It has a fully restored Rover V8 engine and a fully re-engineered manual transmission. In the traditional Land Rover color of Grasmere Green, this Defender 90 was modeled after the “Huey” Land Rover Defender with its Final Edition “Hue 166” genuine Land Rover seats. White steel wheels add to its classic look, along with its Wood Momo steering wheel. The build’s tan canvas top also brings back the nostalgia of older field-work trucks.

Project Tuki is a fully restored Land Rover Defender 110 build in the traditional Land Rover color of Keswick Green with a Land Rover heritage styled grille. Giving off safari vibes, this build has classic white steel wheels with a matching roof, Nardi deep Corn Wooden steering wheel, a full roof rack, and a heritage style interior that seats 9.

Restored Restomod Trucks

A build that is more of a restored restomod truck is Project S2 from E.C.D.’s Heritage Collection. This build is a modern take on a true British classic painted in Grasmere Green with its steel wheels painted to match. The white roof adds to its look and is complemented by the Land Rover Heritage style grille. Its modern and luxury styled touches come from its dual-toned and intricate Rugata Brown and Super-soft black leather interior. Powered by an LC9, the build stays true to its heritage with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Another favorite amongst Defender enthusiasts is Project Chill, a fully fitted D110 in the traditional Land Rover color of Coniston Green with a gloss white roof and matching white steel wheels. The build’s full roof rack on 6-point external roll cage, rear ladder, and brush-guard bumper gives it the look of being ready to off-road at a moment’s notice. Its dual-toned Torino Terrier & Supersoft Black interior is complemented by Classic Series gauges and a Momo Indy steering wheel.

Other favorites are Project Family vacation with its rugged Safari-styled exterior, manual transmission, and Black 8-spoke steel wheels to match its removable black canvas soft top. Its Coniston Green paint complements its Nappa Thema 5001 Ginger and Thema Nero interior and its Nostalgia VT Series gauges. This build is truly a stunning representation of the Defender pedigree.

Vintage Defenders

Wrapping up our Heritage Edition builds is a rare NAS Defender 110 overhaul called Project Alpine Yeti. The fully restored NAS build is Alpine white with 16” Steel Wheels in Hot Rod Black. The classic build is powered by a 2.8 Cummins Turbo-Diesel engine and has retained its original roof rack, front brush guard, and snorkel. Its original TD5 styled dash sets it apart as a true classic restoration that is a perfect representation of the Defender heritage.

Компания Land Rover представила финальную версию внедорожника Defender, который в скором времени сойдёт с конвейера и уступит место в ряду британской марки новой модели. Конце производства запланирован на декабрь 2015 года.

Land Rover Defender покинет конвейер в Салихалле в декабре 2015 года. Попрощаться с легендарным «Дефендером» компания решила специальной версии, но тут же столкнулись с трудностью — невозможно сделать «финальный» Defender в каком-то одном исполнении, поэтому их будет три — Autobiography, Heritage и Adventure.

Land Rover Defender Autobiography Edition будет доступен исключительно в кузове 90 Station Wagon. Ещё один момент — эта серия будет продаваться только в Великобритании. Тираж — 80 экземпляров. В продаже появиться в апреле 2015 года. Цена — от 61 845 фунтов стерлингов (примерно 5 415 000 рублей по курсу на 9 января).

Мощность двигателя была увеличена со 122 до 150 л.с., пиковый крутящий момент был увеличен с 360 до 400 Нм. Внешне версия Autobiography отличается чёрными накладками на арки колёс, решётку радиатора. Также в чёрный цвет выкрашена крыша, капот и крышка багажника. Ручки и лючок бензобака выполнены из полированного алюминия. Диски — 16». Шины — Goodyear MT/R. Салон — кожа Windsor.

With a restored Defender 90, you get the best of both worlds — the classic Land Rover Defender looks on the exterior combined with premium workmanship and improved reliability. Please note this vehicle is located in Florida. This vehicle is the result of a multi-year restoration, with the majority of the recent work completed by Simple Man Customs (SMC) in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. The interior is fitted to a very high standard with custom Oxford Heritage Style Front Seats with European Design Leather/Cloth and a challenging fitment of backup camera visible in the review mirror. In order to address the cabin comfort, an extremely thorough installation of soundproofing was completed in the vehicle. This Defender 90 sits on its original and totally solid chassis with the benefit of a low miles Land Rover 2.5 liter 300tdi Diesel Engine resulting in better reliability and drivability. A fully Reconditioned LT77 5-speed manual gearbox with the addition of power steering makes for a very well balanced Defender. Features of the most recent restoration work include: AC kit, New glass and seals, Front seat heaters, $5k sound system installed, Front and rear sway bars (Terrafirma stabilizer up front), New springs and Bilstein shocks, New battery, cables, locks, steering wheel, steps, rear bumper, trailer wiring, and heater blower, RIGID LED headlights and other factory fog lights with matched color spectrum, Factory heater blower motor, New transfer case with better rati, New custom door handles and window cranks, Boost pin for higher HP and torque, Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 tires on factory steel wheels, New tachometer in dash, Upgraded alternator, New windshield wiper motor, and added Tow Hooks.
