Description for Jeep Wrangler 1993
Offered for your consideration and sale today is this 1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ Sahara Edition. It is an original South Florida. one owner Jeep. I have the original Florida Title. Factory 4. 0 straight 6 cylinder engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Starts right up every time and runs great. The transmission shifts and down-shifts smoothly and quietly through all 5 gears and reverse. The 4wd engages properly and has had minimal. if any use. I have driven many YJ’s and this one definitely has the smoothest ride. The frame is in excellent condition with no rust. Solid condition. Cosmetically. the Jeep does show normal signs of use but no abuse. Has never been off road or mudding. It has never been in an accident. The body is clean and straight. The original windshield frame has been replaced with a new one due to rust. however that rust was contained to the windshield only. The new windshield frame. hood. cowl. grill. fenders and fender flares have been painted due to fading of the original clear coat. Not a showroom Jeep but still looks amazing . There is a tiny hole on the driver side floor board. The front floor board has been sprayed with black bed armor but the cargo area and rear wheel wells maintain the original paint. Original interior is in very good condition. age considered. The front bucket and rear seats show some fading. There is a small tear on the driver seat as shown in the photos. The dash pad is in good condition with no blemishes. All of the dash bezels are in nice original condition as well. The spice color carpet is a factory original from another Jeep and it does have a couple of burn holes and small cuts. This Jeep has never been smoked in. The original carpet was removed a while back and was lost in the shuffle of things. The original and matching green center console has had the lid repaired from the inside and is not noticeable. The air conditioning unit works ice cold and the under dash unit itself is in good cosmetic condition as well. The seats upholstery show normal fading. However . the seat structures are solid and they are very comfortable. New Bestop Soft Top installed this morning. 1/18/15All of the lights are in working order including the turn signals and reverse lights. The windshield wipers are a little slow but work. All of the gauges. speedometer and tachometer are working and reading properly. The original jack and accessories are included although not shown in the photos. Overall. this is a great Original Sahara Jeep. Top of the Jeep Bloodline from the time. We started with a very rust free and clean vehicle, and spent weeks doing a fantastic job on the body and paint. Have ton of pictures of the process and what it looked like before so you can see that their was ZERO rust on the body before we painted. — its stunning!
Paint is a very fine metallic grey/silver gunmetal color. Hard to see the brilliance from the pictures since it acts like a mirror! A few small custom touches were done while in the metal working stage, the most noticeable is that the front grill was flushed out so its much cleaner than any other YJ Jeep I’ve seen. Very nice touch. Gorgeous 2 stage paint job with high quality materials. We own a body shop, so no hack job here. See it in person and you’ll understand.
Mechanically its in great shape. Has 180k miles and the previous owner took excellent mechanical care. We’ve flushed all the fluids, fixed a few things it needed, and tested all components. Everything works well. U-joints replaced in rear driveshaft. Drives perfect. Even the AC blows ice cold!
Interior is all black. Custom high back all weather seats in front. Black soft top in great shape, black trim thru and black bumpers. Really sharp!
We rebuild lots of vehicles here in our shop and have a soft spot for jeeps. Put far more time in it then most would, but the results speak for themselves. You’ll be hard pressed to find as nice a jeep as this anywhere.

Description of 1993 Jeep Wrangler Sahara
1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ, Sahara green with OEM factory interior, reclining vinyl seats, steel wheels (NO-air conditioning) with hard top (installed) and soft top (Best Top — never installed the soft top) with factory full and half-doors. 4.0L six cylinder engine mated up to a manual five speed transmission that starts first time, every time and dives exceptional for its age by shifting fluidly and drives straight as an arrow on the roadway. This Jeep is full OEM and unmodified ( drive-ability a 9 out of 10) except for new polyurethane bushing the entire front suspension, steering damper, four new shocks and body mounts. Tires are good however, a little «lumpy» (they are over ten years old and one wheel center is missing on the right rear) due to being in storage along with a brand new spare tire. Driver seat bottom requires attention (see pic). There is only one rust spot under the horn-mount area and a few pinholes on the driver’s floorboard but the tub is «solid» with minor surface corrosion in places and the frame is free of rust. Windshield frame classically shows signs of rust and requires attention. New exhaust from the catalyst back included. New rear differential yoke and u-joints on rear shaft and fuel hoses to metal fuel lines (from gas tank) were updated to accommodate ethanol fuel. New front brake calipers, intermittent hose and rear brakes. The exhaust manifold requires updated as it has some small fractures in it with new ones costing about $100.00. Front bumper us fitted with tow bar fittings and the tow bar with 2″ ball mount is included and towing light system with flat four wire connector. Rear bumper hoops were hastily fitted with a 2″ received that pulled a small trailer and not functional as a full time towing device. Clean title in hand ready for the next happy owner. A five hundred dollar ($500.00) deposit is required upon immediate purchase and additional pics and information available upon request!
