Hitting show floors next month, this limited-edition Jeep Wrangler will be available for a MSRP of $30,625 for the two-door model and $33,500 for the four-door. The 2011 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition comes standard with “aggressive 32-inch tires, unique military style and Call of Duty graphics.”

Yeah, so COD Jeep, eh? I don’t even know what to say to this. Look for this Jeep on the roads as well as in your game as product placement in Black Ops when it is released next month.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 [ ]

It is the vehicle used by Price’s forces in «Return To Sender». Two Jeep Wranglers are parked near the start of the Special Ops missions «Stay Sharp» and «Charges Set», and on one of them, a hidden AK-74u and Modern Warfare 2 USP .45 are found. The player also starts on board a Wrangler in «Server Crash». A Jeep Wrangler can be found in the multiplayer maps Hardhat, Interchange and Downturn.

Jeep’s New Wrangler: Call of Duty Black Ops Edition

You know there’s a real Jeep that goes with the Call of Duty: Black Ops video game, right?

It’s called the Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition, and it’s a jet-black Wrangler Rubicon in all its glory: dark Rubicon wheels in a high-gloss mineral gray, a sooty exterior with Call of Duty: Black Ops graphics on the sides, special Black Ops tail lamp guards and a fuel-filler door from Mopar, 32-inch off-road tires, live axles with locking differentials in front and rear, and a two-speed transfer case.

That all comes with the other stuff included with the standard issue 2011 Wrangler models, like the redesigned instrument panel and new storage areas, a new lockable console, heated power mirrors, cruise control, hands-free phone, a new USB interface, and Bluetooth audio.

Of course, it’s the Black Ops accouterments that are the real attention-getters.

«It was important for us to make sure that the Jeep partnership would be authentic and enhance the setting we immerse our fans in with Black Ops,» Mark Lamia, the studio head at game developer Treyarch, said in a press statement. «Our work focused around using the Jeep Wrangler in our gameplay experiences and translating the style and look of the vehicle in Black Ops to the Jeep that our fans can own.»

There are a lot of fans. The game has already made more than $1 billion in worldwide sales since its launch Nov. 9th, according to estimates released yesterday by Activision. Worldwide, players have collectively logged more than 600 million hours playing Black Ops since its release.

Jeep Wrangler Black Ops Edition is on sale in Jeep showrooms nationwide. Prices start at $30,625 for the two-door Wrangler and $33,500 for the four-door version.

Jeep announced that it will produce a limited-edition 2011 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition. The new limited-edition Jeep Wrangler will be available at a U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $30,625 for the two-door model and $33,500 for the four-door (Jeep Wrangler Unlimited) model. The 2011 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition is based on the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon model and features dark Rubicon wheels in a high-gloss Mineral Gray. All-new 2011 Jeep Wrangler

Jeep continues to refine the successful Wrangler formula by combining legendary, benchmark capability with an all-new interior that delivers rich styling with significantly upgraded touch surfaces, occupant comfort and versatility, and a premium appearance courtesy of an all-new body color hard top for the popular Sahara model.

New 2011 Jeep Wrangler interior highlights include a redesigned instrument panel and new storage areas with improved ergonomics and upgraded materials. A new lockable console and upgraded door armrest areas boast comfortable touch points, while a redesigned center stack is easier to reach and operate. Heated, power mirrors are now available, and drivers and passengers will enjoy enhanced visibility courtesy of larger rear windows.
