Valet Mode

A number of vehicle functions are controlled by a Valet mode on the Grand Cherokee SRT ® to help increase safety and security. The engine is restricted, considerably reducing horsepower and torque and is limited to 4,000 rpm. The transmission locks out access to first gear and upshifts earlier than normal. Traction, steering and suspension are set to their Street settings. The steering wheel paddle shifters, drive mode functions and launch control are disabled and Electronic Stability Control is enabled to full-on mode. A personalized four-digit PIN code lets the driver activate and deactivate Valet mode.

Performance data in real-time

Feel like you’re on the racetrack with telemetry and real-time data accessible from the Grand Cherokee SRT ® . Have a look at the Performance Pages Plus displayed on the Uconnect ™ 8.4″ touchscreen. Специальная версия американского джипа для китайского рынка во многом схожа с модификацией Grand Cherokee SRT8 Vapor Edition, отличаясь от нее в первую очередь преобладанием черного цвета во внешней и внутренней отделке. Приобрести внедорожник можно уже сейчас по минимальной цене 1 190 000 юаней (190 000 долларов США).

Отличить Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 Hyun Black Edition от обычной модели можно будет по иной радиаторной решетке, алюминиевым колесным дискам на 20 дюймов, хромированным декоративным аксессуарам, биксеноновым фарам головного света, черному глянцевому окрасу кузова и специальным шильдикам, указывающим на принадлежность авто к особой серии. New lightweight, split five-spoke “5Ten” 20-inch wheels are also finished in Satin Black and are designed to showcase the Grand Cherokee SRT8’s standard Brembo brakes. Interior appointments include Black Laguna leather with Silver accent stitching and Light Black Chrome bezels.

Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Night features a standard 6.4-liter V-8 engine with Fuel Saver Technology that delivers 475 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque, an adaptive damping suspension and a Selec-Track Traction Control system.

Available features include a dual-pane sunroof, a 19-speaker 825-watt Harman Kardon stereo system, trailer tow package, three-season tires, a full-size spare tire and a dual-screen rear entertainment system.

Performance numbers for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Night include 0-60 mph acceleration in 4.8 seconds, 0-100-0 mph in 16.3 seconds, quarter mile in the mid 13-second range and a top speed of 160 mph.

2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Night – Export models (Europe) February 24, 2016 , Geneva International Motor Show – In Geneva, Jeep will be presenting a new limited edition of the fastest and most powerful Jeep ever, the Grand Cherokee SRT Night. It features a stealth-like appearance with the front grille bezels, B and C pillars and side window surrounds all adorned in Matt Black. The front applique is Satin Black, as is badging on the bonnet and rear lift-gate. 20-inch wheels are also finished in an exclusive Satin Black and are designed to showcase the Grand Cherokee SRT Night standard Brembo brakes. Unique interior appointments include the luxurious Black Laguna leather seats with Silver accent stitching, leather covered door armrests and centre console including light Black Chrome bezels.

When it comes to performance, the SRT Night is powered by a 6.4-liter V-8 that delivers 468 horsepower (344 kW) and 624 Nm of torque. Performance includes 0-100 km/h acceleration in less than 5 seconds, quarter mile (400 meters) in the mid-13 second range and a top speed of 257km/h.

The 2016 Grand Cherokee SRT and SRT Night come standard with exclusive Performance Pages which have been revised with an expanded array of performance timers and gauge readouts, while all-new drive modes allow Grand Cherokee SRT owners the ability to personalize their driving experience both on-road and on-track.

In addition, standard launch control mimics a professional driver’s inputs to optimize Grand Cherokee SRT’s performance by bringing engine, transmission, driveline, stability control, and suspension in line for a textbook launch

The Selec-Track system on the Grand Cherokee SRT uses performance-tuned software to distinguish the five dynamic modes: Auto, Sport, Tow, Track, and Snow, enabling drivers to choose a vehicle setting that ideally meets their requirements and ambient conditions.
