Jeep Grand Cherokee: уложиться в три «лимона»
У русского человека охота пуще неволи: если он что задумал, так расшибется, но сделает. Особенно если задумал купить, например, Jeep, да не просто, а Grand Cherokee. Остановить может только неподъемная для него цена. Впрочем, производитель в данном случае «подыграл» – в продаже появилась рестайлинговая версия с новым базовым бензиновым 3-литровым мотором.
Легендарный Grand Cherokee в своей внедорожной нише сегодня не самый престижный автомобиль. Зато в харизме ему по-прежнему не откажешь. Его конек – верность известной всему автомобильному миру радиаторной решетке с семью вертикальными прорезями. Это общепризнанная визитная карточка всех настоящих «Джипов», доставшаяся им от дедушки Willys. Недаром на руле, а теперь еще и под стеклами фар Grand Cherokee красуется надпись «Since 1941».
Внешние изменения, произошедшие в позапрошлом году, в глаза с ходу не бросаются: чуть другие бамперы, подкруглились передние крылья, гриль уменьшился в размерах, появилась новая светодиодная вспомогательная оптика. Ксенон уже в базе. Переработана и кормовая часть: светодиодные фонари и спойлер стали больше. В интерьере новый приборный щиток с семидюймовым многофункциональным дисплеем. Обновлена и центральная консоль. На ней главное место занято сенсорным (8,4 дюйма) монитором усовершенствованной еще раз уже в прошлом году мультимедианавигационной системы Uconnect.
И все-таки наиболее важное изменение – новый 8-ступенчатый «автомат» вместо древней 5АТ. В модификациях 2015 модельного года появился новый базовый 3-литровый бензиновый атмосферник, развивающий 238 л.с. Главное преимущество нового двигателя, пожалуй, не в новизне или экономичности, а в цене: с ним самый доступный Grand Cherokee без опций стоит 2 799 000 руб., в то время как с турбодизелем или бензиновым 3,6 л цена уже на старте превышает 3 млн руб. Что мы теряем, экономя на двигателе? Первое – возможность заказать топовую версию Overland. Немного, куда важнее, что максимальный крутящий момент у «эконом»-версии – всего 295 Нм против 550 у дизеля и 347 у бензинового 3,6 л, что особенно сказывается на бездорожье. На шоссе разница не так заметна, разве что динамика разгона 0–100 км/ч в абсолютных цифрах похуже.

January 10, 2011, Detroit – Jeep® – one of the world’s few, true icons – is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2011. To mark the occasion, the Jeep brand is creating distinctive, unique 70th Anniversary Edition models of each vehicle in its lineup.
“The Jeep brand’s legendary heritage and capability have made it iconic – well-known and loved throughout the world,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO – Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “Since they were first produced in 1941, Jeep vehicles have been the authentic benchmark for off-road capability, having mastered more terrain, led more adventures and provided drivers more freedom than any other vehicle before or since.”
“As part of our celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Jeep brand, we are creating stunning, premium special-edition models of each vehicle in our lineup that pay homage to the history of the legendary Jeep brand,” Manley added.
All Jeep 70th Anniversary Edition models will arrive in showrooms in the first quarter of 2011, and all will be available in a unique Bronze Star exterior paint, in addition to Bright Silver and Black. Order banks open on January 12, 2011.
