2021 Valor LAPD Ford Explorer Replacement (Lore Friendly Model Included)

Getting ready to start making Non ELS/FiveM vehicles at the top of the year so I’m releasing some of my old builds or cars that was sitting up collecting dust in the dump file. Before anyone start complaining these are old vehicles that were in an extra file where I scratched either the project or the vehicles, and these are my old builds. I have great supporters on Patreon and they get a lot of exclusive stuff so I thought it would be cool especially before Christmas to release them. ometimes when you put the textures in OpenIV the «MipMaps» dont change so quail of the texture from a distance will be terrible, to fix this make sure the mipmaps are 8 DO NOT ASK FOR HELP BEFORE TRYING THIS!

2017 Ford Explorer LAPD

The LAPD’s most commonly used vehicle, the 2017 Ford Explorer is one size fit all. With spacious space for equipment in the back and criminals in the front. The Explorer is now the mainstay of the entire department and it can be seen in many cities across the country too.

This vehicle features flashing headlights and taillights like real LAPD vehicles during emergency response.

Note Added 1/9/2020: The reason this vehicle wasn’t updated in the Explorer refresh is that the Valor Lightbar is incredibly hard to place accurately for good lighting effects during emergency responses.

Use Service Vehicle Selector or Service Vehicle Manager (my preferred utility) to set police/prison vehicles types for your stations/prisons.

Use Invisible Spawn Points to fine tune your spawning and create more realistic depots!

Remapped the textures for it. Despite being based off of cpturbs’ 2013 Explorer, I redid the front so that the model’s lights are actually shaped in the correct format. Removed bullbar. All lights were checked for correct illumination. Added side lights and valor lightbar from LAPD Fusion.

Stats are the same as the default police car. Use Advanced Vehicle Options Mod to change it to fit your needs. Use Emergency Lights Changer V2 to generate custom flare colors and lighting styles.
