The fact that the HiLux, also built in Thailand, is the newest design should automatically give it the lead but its styling does polarize buyers

Where the previous HiLux was starting to look a little soft and small, the new one is almost a full class bigger with a pug-nosed look that you can’t ignore especially in full colour-coded SR5 livery.

The 4×2 is not a special high rider version hence its 15-inch wheels but it doesn’t need 4×4 height to deliver serious attitude. Loading up the roof or canopy is going to be easier than the others.

The dimensions tell all. Base width makes it the widest so it is almost a long distance five-seater but there is no centre lap-sash rear belt. Its extra 300mm in length over some rivals delivers a cabin that will match the Rodeo while offering a long load bed that is second only to the class-leading Courier in length yet offers load depth that almost rivals the Rodeo.

The HiLux is big’un but the lower kerb weight reflects its newer design and the engine has serious grunt. Driven sensibly, the weight loss can deliver fuel consumption figures that are not as scary as the 4.0-litre capacity would suggest.

It has a centre handbrake, a big back seat, alloy sports bar, cruise control (auto only), multiple cupholders front and rear, centre dash storage, ABS, twin airbags, front door intrusion bars, remote fuel filler release and the dash design lifts everything high for easy reach.

Tall drivers are not left looking at the sunvisors like the Rodeo or Triton. Map lights are a disappointing omission.

That said, the interior presentation has an unwelcoming industrial look to it despite the attempt to add some interesting angles and design elements. The front seats are typical Toyota LandCruiser/HiLux which means they are too short and lacking any real location.

The HiLux looks the most promising only to disappoint in its basic exterior and cabin detailing for those moving from a passenger car. As always, the HiLux emphasis is on working capacity.

A buyers extra money delivers a bigger and more capable vehicle than the others with a reasonable suspension compromise. For some, it has grown too big to be perceived as a replacement for an earlier model.

3. Copy «Hilux12» in addon folder to «GTAV \ mods \ update \ x64 \ dlcpacks \»
4. Edit «GTAV \ mods \ update \ update.rpf \ common \ data \ dlclist.xml»
5. Add a new line «dlcpacks:/hilux12/» behind the last «»
6. Done! Launch the game and using Menyoo or other trainer to spawn the car by the name «hilux12»

replace :
1. Extract all files .
2. Launch your OpenIV .
3. Go to files in » Replace » folder .
4. go to » update-x64> dlcpacks> patchday23ng> dlx.rpf> x64> levels> gta5> vehicles.rpf.
5. click on » Edit mode » in Open Iv .
6. click on » Show on Mode folder » .
7. Throw all files That in Replace folder in OpenIv.

* Don’t forget to make a backup of your files!

Just copy the «hilux12» in FiveM folder to your server resources folder, and add a new line «start hilux12» in your «server.cfg
