I recently installed the Dasaita head unit in my vehicle, and I’m thrilled to share my experience with this device. From installation to performance, here’s what I’ve discovered: Installation Ease: The installation process was a breeze thanks to the plug-and-play harness. I didn’t have to be a tech expert to set it up; the instructions were straightforward, and all the necessary connections were easy to make. Vivid Display: One of the standout features is the head unit’s vivid and bright display. It performs remarkably well under varying lighting conditions, ensuring I can clearly see the screen even in direct sunlight. This is a huge plus, especially when driving during different times of the day. Launcher Flexibility: While the default launcher was decent, I found that the overall system had more to offer. I decided to switch to a different launcher, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. The flexibility of the system allowed for this customization, and the new launcher improved the user experience significantly. Responsive Touch: To ensure a responsive touch experience, the Dasaita head unit requires a minimum of 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. This requirement is spot-on, as I noticed that the touch response was smooth and fast. Navigating through menus, apps, and features felt natural and effortless. Room for Improvement: While the default launcher was okay, I appreciated the ability to switch to a different one. However, I do wish the pre-installed launcher could match the overall system’s flexibility and performance. It would be great to see improvements in this area in future updates. In summary, the Dasaita head unit has been a fantastic addition to my vehicle. The installation process was straightforward, the display quality exceeded my expectations, and the touch responsiveness was on point. The option to customize the launcher added a layer of personalization that enhanced my overall driving experience. If you’re looking for a head unit with these features and capabilities, the Dasaita is definitely worth considering. Just remember to meet the RAM and ROM requirements for optimal performance.

The installation of this head unit is about as easy as it gets. You really can’t mess it up. Everything works as intended and it looks amazing installed. This is a significant upgrade especially if you are in a 2010-2014 4Runner like I am. Is it a necessary upgrade,? No, but it does a fantastic job of elevating the interior and technology to modern times. It adds the ability to add any app available through Google Play; or apps available for use with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. I have a couple of criticisms but by no means are they overly concerning or deal breakers. The volume for the radio may need some tweaking because it is loud after install. In contrast, streaming via bluetooth or wifi is not as loud. If you never listen to the radio and only listen to Spotify or other streaming services like me, this likely wouldn’t matter to you but thought I’d point that out. Nevertheless, adjusting the volume settings can be easily accomplished by tweaking the amplifier and EQ settings. Another criticism I have is with the Google Maps on the home display. It does not give the option of selecting another nav service, such as Waze, like CarPlay does. Additionally, the location icon jumps vs moving smoothly on home page and it only shows an overhead view. If it can be changed to 3D view that would be nice. If it can, I haven’t figured it out yet. But. jump over to the Google Maps app itself (or Waze) and it works exactly as you would expect—nice and smooth. Keep in mind, if you use CarPlay or Android Auto this really is a nonissue. The benefits and the value of this head unit far outweigh any criticisms I have. Overall, I highly recommend this head unit. I wish I would have bought it sooner and would buy it again!

Beautiful car radio, and they have great support with quick response.
If you have Bose system in your car, you need to buy Dasaita RCA Harness
XC-001-0531. otherwise you will have static noise and hissing.

A few minor quirks I need to figure out but all in all a big time upgrade compared to the dated alpine unit I had before. Install is manageable if you have any inclination. The CAN bus harness is needed if you have JBL system. Buy it separately is what I had to do

2008 Sequoia LimitedJBL, Navigatiom & Backup Cam.The OEM backup cam is poor quality on this big screen, since the OEM screen was smaller.This kit included everything to complete the install. It took a lot of work to program the backup cam. A little but of work for the steering wheel controls.Overall exremely happy. Great bang for the buck. Fairly reliable. No issues. Wireless Carplay doesnt switch from my phone to the wifes phone. But we are both in love.
