Code No.C1201: Wheel speed sensor (FR) (signal short circuit)
Code No.C1206: Wheel speed sensor (FL) (signal short circuit)
Code No.C1211: Wheel speed sensor (RR) (signal short circuit)
Code No.C1216: Wheel speed sensor (RL) (signal short circuit)

Diagnosis codes No.C1201, C1206, C1211 or C1216 is set if any abnormal voltage from the wheel speed sensor is detected without the outputs of the codes No.C1200, C1202, C1205, C1207, C1210, C1212, C1215 or C1217.

PROBABLE CAUSES

• Damaged wiring harness and connectors
• Teeth lack or clogging of the ABS rotor
• Malfunction of the front hub assembly
• Malfunction of the axle shaft bearing
• Noise interference
• Wheel speed sensor malfunction
• ABS-ECU malfunction

• Carry out diagnosis with particular emphasis on wiring harness and connector failures between ABS-ECU and the wheel speed sensor. For diagnosis procedures, refer to How to treat past trouble (GROUP 00 — How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions.).

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III CAN bus diagnosis

STEP 2. Diagnosis code recheck after resetting CAN bus lines

Q. Are the diagnosis codes No.C1201, C1206, C1211 or C1216 set?

STEP 3. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code

Q. Are the diagnosis codes No.C1200, C1202, C1205, C1207, C1210, C1212, C1215 or C1217 also set?

STEP 4. M.U.T.-III data list

Q. Is the check result normal?

STEP 5. Check for wheel speed sensor installation

Q. Is the check result normal?

STEP 6. Check for wheel speed sensor output current

Q. Is the check result normal?

STEP 7. Check the front hub or axle shaft bearing for looseness.

• Check the front hub (Refer to GROUP 26, On-vehicle Service — Wheel Bearing Axial Play Check.).

• Check the front hub (Refer to GROUP 26 — On-vehicle Service — Wheel Bearing Axial Play Check.).

• Check the axle shaft bearing (Refer to GROUP 27 — On-vehicle Service — Axle Shaft Axial Play Check.).

• Check the axle shaft bearing (Refer to GROUP 27 — On-vehicle Service — Axle Shaft Axial Play Check.).

STEP 8. Check the ABS rotor.

STEP 9. Connector check: A-01 ABS-ECU connector, A-130 front wheel speed sensor (RH) connector, A-121 front wheel speed sensor (LH) connector, D-31 rear wheel speed sensor (RH) connector, D-23 rear wheel speed sensor (LH) connector and C-35 intermediate connector

STEP 10. Voltage measurement at the A-01 ABS-ECU connector

• Between terminal No.7 and body earth

• Between terminal No.19 and body earth

• Between terminal No.21 and body earth

• Between terminal No.9 and body earth

STEP 11. Resistance measurement at the A-01 ABS-ECU connector

• Between terminal No.7 and body earth

• Between terminal No.19 and body earth

неисправность ABS (С1211). Прошу проконсультировать.

Коллеги,
В конце августа (пробег составлял около 30 тыс) на полном приводе нырнул в грязь по пороги. Вынырнул через 10 метров и загорелись лампы (ABS + две «пьяный водитель» рядом с ней). Сначала подумал, что просто грязь попала на датчик ABS, но не тут то было.

Поехал в официальному дилеру (благо как раз ТО-30 надо было делать). Продиагностировали и сказали что сканер показывает внутреннее замыкание датчика ABS. Мои рассказы про offroad и то, что в лучшем случае это грязь, а в худшем — обрыв проводки под кузовом/рядом с датчиком проигнорировали. Заказали датчик для замены по гарантии

Через 2 недели позвали на замену. Датчик заменили, но лампы неисправности снова загорелись. Развели руками и сказали, что будут копать дальше. Записали снова на диагностику.

Вчера ездил на очередную диагностику. По результатам компьютер показал ошибку C1211. Приговорили гидроблок ABS под замену. Снова заказывают и снова ждать 2-3 недели. А скоро уже холода и без ABS ездить (тем более, что водит еще и жена) станет не комфортно.

В чем может быть дело? У меня такое чувство, что от замены гидроблока ничего не изменится.
