Эта автомобильная компания была основана в марте 1986 года в качестве премиального подразделения марки Honda.

В названии данной марки скрыта латинская морфема «Acu», которая означает аккуратность и точность и передает главный принцип бренда.

Только в США с 1986 по 2015 года (включительно) эта компания реализовала свыше 4 миллионов автомобилей.

Логотип марки со стилизованной буквой «A» в виде кронциркуля олицетворяет техническое и дизайнерское превосходство машин Acura.

Первым автомобилем этого японского автопроизводителя стал премиум-седан под названием Legend, вышедший на рынок в 1986-м.

«Precision Crafted Performance» – именно так звучит современный слоган марки, что можно перевести различными способами.

Именно «Акура» первой в мире выпустила автомобиль с полностью алюминиевыми кузовом и шасси – им был суперкар NSX.

«Спорт-гибрид» Acura MDX 3 SH

Бензоэлектрическая версия паркетника с приставкой «Sport Hybrid» была показана в рамках Нью-Йоркского автосалона 2016 года. Машина не получила серьезных внешних и внутренних отличий от «обычного собрата», а её «изюминкой» является гибридная силовая установка.

Обновленный Acura MDX 3

Среднеразмерный вседорожник премиум-класса в марте 2016-го пережил заметное обновление и справил премьеру на автошоу в Нью-Йорке. Автомобиль получил более агрессивное оформление внешности и расширенный функционал, но обошелся без технических новшеств.

Третья генерация Acura MDX

Премиальный вседорожник среднеразмерного класса официально дебютировал в 2013-м на автосалоне в Нью-Йорке, а в 2015 году пережил небольшое обновление.
