Only the rear wheels receive power. This mode is best suited for normal driving conditions.

4WD control with the flexibility of a center differential with Torque sensing, gives ready traction on changing conditions or surfaces. Normally operating with a 40:60 torque split, it can react to traction loss by automatically redistributing power up to a 50:50 split.

With the center differential locked to distribute equal torque to all four wheels, this mode is suitable for rough back roads or hazardous weather conditions.

The four-wheel traction 0f 4HLc shifts into low gear for maximum torque when going off-road or driving through heavy snow and mud.
