Maserati Levante и Porsche Cayenne не пара, к «итальянцу» нужен Macan? Оптический обман: даже Cayenne короче Levante на внушительные 15 см! Но при этом схож по цене: базовый Levante Diesel стоит 75 тысяч евро, или примерно 4,5 млн рублей, а «начальный» Cayenne Diesel — почти пять миллионов. Дуэль!

С зади Maserati унисексуален, а вот спереди. Самец! Зубастый, наглый, самобытный. Перед ним услужливо расступаются даже те, кто не рассмотрел в зеркале фирменный трезубец. Кайену соседи по потоку выказывают меньше почтения.

Низко приседать на пневмоподвеске, как покорные верблюды, умеют оба. Правда, Maserati с его стерильно чистым дверным проемом и здесь выигрывает у Porsche, чья дверь не полностью закрывает порог. Но вот внутри… В Кайене есть стиль. И есть идея — прямая, как лом, и твердая, как закаленная сталь.

В Levante о прежних Maserati, как во всех последних моделях, на которые наложила отпечаток дружба с Крайслером, напоминают разве что эмблема на руле да фирменные овальные часики. А потому заказ двухцветной кожаной обивки и вставок из ценных пород дерева строго обязателен! Иначе ­серое-на-черном убьет весь кайф, а заодно и ощущение дорогой эксклюзивной вещи.

Хотя приборы в колодцах и полноцветный дисплей между ними чудо как хороши. Кресло по-итальянски рыхлое, а крупный руль напоминает о временах, когда усилитель был роскошью даже для Maserati. Но Италией здесь веет слабо: большинство особенностей, к которым так или иначе придется привыкать, вовсе не апеннинские, а немецко-американские. Кнопка запуска — слева, словно от Porsche. Перегруженный функциями единственный подрулевой рычажок — мерседесовский. Кнопки перебора радиостанций и регулировки громкости на тыльной стороне руля, плохо сочетаемые с подрулевыми лепестками, — крайслеровские.

Приборы скорее по-немецки правильны, на итальянскую экспрессию нет и намека

А уж этот нефиксируемый селектор «автомата»… За неделю я так и не смог нащупать верный алгоритм включения задней передачи в одно движение. Все время промахивался — либо в N, либо в Р!

С Porsche таких сложностей не возникает — все четко, просто, причем с любым органом управления, а не только с селектором.

Зато Levante, как пионер, всегда готов к светофорному спору. Никаких дополнительных кнопок и режимов: просто жмете две педали в пол, обороты скачут возле трех тысяч — и… Более легкий Cayenne к 100 км/ч все равно оказывается чуть впереди: 6,9 против 7,1 с. И полторы «сотни» Porsche разменивает раньше. Преимущество Maserati в мощности проявляется уже далеко за рамками разрешенных скоростей: 200 км/ч Levante набирает на четыре секунды быстрее.
